I love my new pedometer:
because it motivates me to meet my daily goal of 10,000 steps and burn 500 calories or more. I have more control so no longer trip over the occasional fast food burger because I know for a fact it's not enough to take my firm bum down.

Suddenly you're motivated to start finding ways to add in steps:

  • Parking further from your destination
  • Taking the stairs rather than the elevator
  • Adding a stroll to your breaks and lunches
  • Enjoying an evening walk with your loved ones
  • Enjoy taking the dog for walks
  • Pacing while watching TV or while talking on the phone
  • dancing to more songs at the club or during a party
  • turning on fit TV or workout DVD to see how many calories you can burn
  • cleaning the house or room etc. with the music on
Today's pedometer are better: for they display steps and count them accurately. My pedometer calculates distance, calories burned and has a time/date feature. For distance and calorie models, I entered my stride length and weight. It's tiny, comfortable and stays in place despite all the running and jumping I do while working out. I never take it off for it's meant to be worn all day, every day, as motivation to keep moving and I do.
