How Jennifer Love Hewitt Got Skinny Again

Jennifer Love Hewitt’s weight loss of 18 pounds is hardly surprising after seeing herself look so poorly in the infamous black bikini pictured in the press. Hewitt denies that her sudden weight loss has anything to do with Hollywood’s pressure to look thin, but one would have to be blind not to know she is not telling the truth.    Hollywood pressure motivated her to lose weight so she did and now everyone wants to know how she did it.

Jennifer lost weight by simply changing her diet and taking exercise seriously, no surprise there.  She kicked her diet off by maintaining 1,500 to 1,800 calories a day then after losing weight she reduced her calorie intake to 1,200 to 1,500 calories per day.

Jen's personal trainer Sant'Angelo lowers his clients calorie intake every few weeks as the weight drops off.  Sant'Angelo also likes to get his clients to munch on whole grains until 2 P.M. or 3 P.M. to help maintain energy and prevent late-night snaking. 

Jennifer takes it easy on the whole grains and eats mainly proteins, veggies and fruit to speed up the weight loss process for the body can break down protein, veggies and fruit much quicker then it can break down whole grains.  Lots of celebrities will only eat protein and veggies, also known as the red carpet diet, to lose those extra hard to get off pounds right before a big press event.

For breakfast Jen has 2 servings of mixed fruit (like 2 oranges, 1 grapefruit or 6 oz of strawberries, blueberries or raspberries) and 1 cup of low-fat Greek yogurt or ¾ cup of cottage cheese. Next,she snacks on apples with 1 to 2 tbsp of natural peanut butter.  Then eats a turkey sandwich for lunch and has an eight oz roasted chicken breast or fish with 2 cups of veggies for dinner.

Jennifer Love Hewitt exercises for an hour three or four times a week.  She starts the workout with a ten minute run with her running forward, backward and sideways on the treadmill.  Then Hewitt tones up for 45 minutes with a kettle-bell-focused workout that includes one-arm military presses using 18-pound cast-iron bells, bicep curls with 15-pound bells paired with squats, single-leg touch-downs with a triceps kickback using 18-pound bells and jumps holding 15-pound bells (three sets of 15 reps each). She ends with three one-minute full-body planks.

For her lower body, Hewitt does 25 lunges on each leg (three sets), tones her inner thighs and core by lying on her back with hands underneath the tail bone and opening and closing legs in a Y position (three sets of 50 reps) and ends with three sets of 50 donkey kicks.

Jennifer Love Hewitt was 90's answer for a sex symbol because she had a wholesome girl next door face with a killer body that could rival a porn star.  She had the perfect body so the only place to go from there was down and thanks to gravity and wishful thinking she went down, lucky for us.  Jennifer had to see herself looking like the average women, not so fit, and had to kick in over time to look good again.  Jen has bless women everywhere with the opportunity to discover her workout plan so for that Jen's fans should be thankful.
