Early Morning Burn Skinny

Q: When is the best time of day to do your cardio?

A: Any time! The most important thing is that you just do it. Continuous cardiovascular exercise for at least 30 minutes, will burn body fat no matter when you do it. However, if you want to get the maximum benefits possible from every minute you invest in your workouts, then you should consider getting up early and doing cardio before you eat your first meal on an empty stomach has four major advantages over exercising later in the day:

--In the morning your metabolism stays elevated for a longer period of time.

--If you workout before you eat you burn stored fat.

--You will have an after burn effect as in you will burn more calories through out the day.

--It may help regulate your appetite for the rest of the day.

Question- I work graveyard shifts and don't get off work until 7 am. I do eat a few snack (mostly out of bordem) during my night shift, so I don't have an empty stomach at 7. Should I do my cardio after I wake up (usually about 2 or 230 in the afternoon)? Or should I do cardio in the 'morning'? Even though it's not really morning to me?

Thank you for the tip! I have been doing this every day for a month and it is working wonders! If I find I feel tired or dizzy I grab some Minute Maid Nourish your Brain juice (pommogranite, blueberry), and sip on that. It quiets cravings and hunger enough to push through the workout. :)
