The Cause of Belly Fat

-Improper eating or lack of exercise.

-Menopause
After menopause fat begins storing itself in different places.


-Genetics
There are two common body types: apple and pear. If you gain and store fat in lower parts of your body then you are pear-shaped. If you store more fat in your stomach and middle section than anywhere else then you are apple-shaped. If your relatives, especially the overweight ones, are heavier around the middle then it’s quite possible you are genetically apple-shaped.

-Stress
This is a big one. In fact, stress can make can make you bigger all over if you’re not careful. When you are under stress, your body releases cortisol. You will feel hungrier and begin to eat more and those calories go straight to the tummy. Improper Digestion This can also be caused by stress. Many people who complain about persistent belly fat often times have gas which causes the bloating effect. Slow Metabolism As we get older, our metabolism tends to slow down.


-Poor Posture
If you have poor posture, it can give you that "pot belly" appearance.
Eating Late at Night Never eat within three hours of your bedtime if you want your food to have a chance to fully digest before you bed time. If you’re to snack late at night, eat something healthy like a banana or a small handful of almonds.
